Really? No, really?
Look, I try not to be judgmental (stop laughing). I do. But when one of the teams on the new Amazing Race is made up of two goths named Kynt (a dude) and Vyxsin (a chick)? I can’t help but pre-judge. And then get pre-annoyed because if they knew I was pre-judging, they would probably protest, “We don’t care! We dress this way to express our true selves! We are dark souls and we had to change our names to reflect that!” And yet? Going on The Amazing Race. How non-mainstream of them. I hope they get eliminated first, though I have to admit that I look forward to seeing them try to keep up the goth pose on the race.

I get the feeling these two are going to remind me of Azrael Abyss (Chris Kattan) and Circe Nightshade (Molly Shann) from the old SNL Goth Talk sketch. I wonder if they win are they going to call the dudes jock brother who will berate him on national TV.

The thing I can’t handle about Kynt and Vyxsin (shudder…well, besides their names) is Kynt’s purple lipstick. I always have to look away. I thought black lipsick was required for goths?

Funny, Kynt and Vyxsin did an absolutely wonderful job on the show. They were strong competitors and just plain NICE. Funny how the most “normal” looking teams were the most RUDE to each other, and to the inhabitants of the different countries.
