I
took this picture to show you that it's cold outside. I'm
writing this, and I've already been up to school and run some
errands, and missed an appointment with my boss this semester
because she didn't come in today - no message or e-mail for
me! I found out by a sign on the door. I'm sure it was an
emergency and I was not her first priority, and I had other
things to take care of anyway.
And it's really cold. I'm sure you've heard this from other
online journallers. The high today is supposed to be 15 degrees
Fahrenheit. The HIGH. And that's not even counting the wind
chill - it got down to -40 degrees last night with the wind
chill. Not that I went outside, but I looked out the window
and it looked really cold. We're talking freezing nose hair
cold. Okay, enough about the weather.
Mar and I went to Rochester on Saturday, and I bought some
new couch pillows at Target and some books at Waldenbooks.
I had a gift certificate for the mall there, and that's the
only bookstore in that mall, so there you go. Mar had to get
a baby shower gift, and she bought a couple of other things
as well. We love Target. I wish we had a Target in Syracuse.
I did a Party of Five recap last week, and the Felicity one
and the Real World/Road Rules 2000 one should be up today
or tomorrow at Mighty
Big TV. So that's taken up a lot of my time. I have a
WWF article due this week as well. That's a lot of writing!
Plus classes start this week, plus my GA ship.
Why am I telling you all this? As way of explanation that
I probably won't be updating my journal as much for the next
few weeks at least. Things are hectic, and when I look at
all the things on my plate, most of them involve writing,
either for school or money, and those take precedence over
writing for fun! I do plan to keep up on my
weblog, so you can bookmark that page. You can also join
my notify
list and I'll let you know when I update the journal.
Count on the weblog
being updated every weekday and the journal, whenever. Only
if I have something to say and the time to say it, at least
for a while!
Smell ya later!

The
new Napster beta is out. If you listen to MP3s, you should
have Napster.
I think this is a
pretty good article about DVD players, but what do I know?
Poor Dead Ray Carver. First, his editor claims he wrote all
his stories. Now, someone
is claiming he stole "Cathedral" from D.H. Lawrence.
Can't they leave Dead Ray alone? (I only say Dead Ray because
Stacey is a huge Carver fan and her e-mail address is deadray@somewhere.com).
Whitney
Houston busted for pot in Hawaii. Is anyone besides me
surprised that it was just pot? I expected stronger drugs
from Whit.
Two
of the best stories I've seen today: food "intolerances"
are psychosomatic and a guy had a breast growing out of the
back of his leg!
