This morning was very frustrating. I'm a planner, and when things don't work out in my plan, I get frustrated.

The plan was: go up to school with Jim at 8 a.m. and get some scholarship mess straightened out. This should take about 10 or 15 minutes. I just had to show someone a letter. Then go drop my car off at the shop, and Terry was going to pick me up there at 8:30 a.m. We were going to go to breakfast, and then he was going to drop me back at the shop at 10, at which time the car would be ready. I could come back to the house, shower, go back to school and register and pick up Jim. Somewhere in there, I hoped to do my Real World summary (new one up!) and journal entry.

It all went wrong right off the bat. The woman who was supposed to take care of my scholarship mess was on vacation. So I went to her backup woman, who was also on vacation. So I stood in the middle of the office and looked confused until someone took pity on me and decided to help. I ended up having to talk to the dean, and I felt bad for wasting her time. She sent me to another woman, who had literally just walked in the door. So before she had a chance to have a cup of coffee, I'm assaulting her. After ten phone calls or so, she finally gets the problem fixed. I glance at a clock on my way out - oops! It's already 8:45 and I was supposed to meet Terry at 8:30! I make a mad dash for my car and race down the highway, arriving at the car repair place at 9:00 a.m. Terry waited for me, which was awfully nice. I probably would have left! We went to Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast and shot the breeze, then he dropped me home since my car wouldn't be done yet.

So now I'm stuck at home with no car. My car's ready, but I can't get there yet. I just got a hold of someone to take me to get it. I tried to call school to find out how late the registration office is open, but all I get is voice mail which makes me nervous. Please let something go right today! If I can just get registered correctly, my life will be much easier.

Bitch, bitch, bitch. I'm going to quit writing now, because it seems that's all I'm capable of. Go check out my RW Summary, why don't you? It's super long and kinda funny.

Shopping online is kind of like delayed gratification - you order something and then get it a fwe days later. Wouldn't it be cool if you could browse and order online and then pick the item up on your way home, or have it delivered by a local merchant to your home or office?

ASCAP is cracking down on sites that just LINK to other sites with music. ASCAP sucks. That's another entry entirely.

Hey, thanks to a reader who sent me this cool article about color theory, and another site where you can play with color combinations.

USA Today's Hot sites are actually pretty good.
