I love this picture. What you can't really see (besides Gretchen's big boobs) is that Gretchen has a styrofoam container of chicken fingers in her lap. Also, note the reflection off Bob's forehead. Am I a master photographer or what? I love the look on Gretchen's face in this one. Classic.

If anyone can figure out why there is not a graphic in the top table cell of this page, let me know. I know it's pointing to the right place because when I open http://www.fresh-hell.com/jpg/new/top2.gif in my browser, it shows up just fine. So all you HTML heads out there, let me know if you can figure it out.

I didn't do much today except finish my Real World recap for Mighty Big TV. It took longer than usual because it was an hour episode instead of the usual half hour, but at least the season's over. I couldn't take much more of those losers. It should get posted tomorrow, most likely. Now on to Party of Five. I want to get that done tomorrow as well. I also have to get my new WWF one done by Saturday. Also, I have to get a mockup of a site design for an extracurricular project I took on finished by Tuesday. And I have some work to do for my classes. Plus I have to figure out what I want to take next semester. Plus I want to get a page up on kimreed.com of Gretchen's wedding pictures. Plus I need to clean the bathroom. I actually made a list of things I wanted to get done in class the other day and I got up to 21 before I got depressed and stopped. What am I going to do when I have an actual job?

So Jim and I found a house we want, except we don't have nearly enough money to buy a house right now. It's kind of a pisser because we both really like this house, or at least the description of it. We did a drive-by Tuesday night but it was pitch black outside so we couldn't see much. Oh, here's a link to it if you want to check it out for yourselves. Yes, housing in this part of the country is cheap. Oh well, I'm sure something good will come along when we are ready to buy, which won't be for at least a year. We are just sick of living in apartments in general and this one in particular. I swear the kid upstairs morphed into Michael Flatley, Lord of the Dance the other day and started doing Irish step-dancing right above my head. Also, the stairs to their apartment go right over our closet, which is right next to our bed. This morning they must have gone up and down them twenty-five times. Wearing workboots. Everytime they drop an armful of pots and pans (I swear that's what it sounds like), Jim and I just look at each other and go "We gotta get a house." So maybe that will be incentive for us to start saving more money. I told him we should get married, because then we would probably get enough money as gifts to start a nice little nest egg. I don't think he's going for that. Jim has strict rules about when we get married - he wants to be more settled in a permanent position. Right now, who knows what will happen when I graduate? I'd like to stay in the area, but if I can't find a job, I'm willing to move to Rochester or somewhere else in Upstate NY, like Ithaca. That would suck though, because Jim would have to give up his job, and he likes it. So no wedding bells yet.

CD prices are going up to almost $19. I think this is ridiculous, only because I know from working at Borders how much money the labels waste on stupid marketing tactics. Music labels are notorious for being generous with the marketing dollars, and half of it doesn't work. If they would reign in their spending, they could cut prices and still make money.

When I was at the vet the other day, the UPS guy came in and he was joking about their successful IPO.

Good Morning America is having two volunteers try to survive for a week with only e-commerce to supply their needs. Two interesting notes: One, you could only do this in a major urban setting. Two, check out what the woman ordered first and what the man ordered first.

Amazon and Alta Vista will be offering affinity credit cards where you can earn "frequent buyer" points.

This is an interesting comparison of high-bandwidth internet connections - cable vs. DSL vs. satellite.

I can't wait for this game to come out.
