That's
Jim and Grendel taking a little nap on the couch. Aren't they
sweet? Grendel is doing well, I think. You long-time readers
may recall that Grendel has feline cardiomyopathy, and kidney
failure, so she is on blood pressure medication and a low
protein diet. She is putting back on some of the weight she
lost, and she's looking really good lately! I feel a lot more
encouraged. While she was at the vet (while we were at Disney
World), she got some more tests done, and I have to call and
get the results. But I'm feeling good about it.
My classes were (once again) kind of boring on Tuesday. In
my Human Computer Interaction class, we watched a bunch of
videotaped presentations from some conference. Some were kind
of interesting, I guess. My friends and I went to a Chinese
place for lunch, and it was pretty good! My afternoon class
was okay. I am the biggest geek in that class. Everyone else
must hate me. It was worse than usual on Tuesday, because
we were talking about e-commerce and real estate. Well, my
summer internship was redesigning a real estate assocation
website, so I have a little knowledge in this area. I tried
not to talk a lot though. Then after the break, a student
taught the class on money and cash systems such as CyberCash.
He asked if anyone knew what micropayments are. I do, and
I felt bad because he really wanted someone to answer, so
I did. But I still think everyone hates me. I need to learn
to keep my yap shut.
Our window on our back porch is broken. It's an enclosed
porch, and we keep a lot of crap out there because we don't
have a lot of storage space. There's a loveseat sized papa-san
out there, and a whole lot of boxes from when we moved. Well,
our landlord was using the electrical outlet on our porch,
and broke the window. This was about a month ago, and it's
still not fixed. After the big fight last night, I'm a little
nervous to ask him about it. Clearly, he has a temper. But
I wish he would fix it before it starts snowing - which should
be any day now.
Did you watch Dawson's Creek last night? It was terrible.
Just awful. I can't really go into it now, but it's like the
writers aren't even trying anymore. No effort. It makes me
so mad. And yet I still watch. Hey, I made a funny joke the
other day. While we were at Disney, we took a tour and they
were saying that the movie "Instinct" was filmed
there. I said, "Instinct? It stinked!" Ha ha! I
kill me.

You really, really have to go read Stee's
Open Letter to his Co-Workers. Stee is fucking hilarious.
Clearly, Jennifer
Love Hewitt needs to get a new publicist. Her current
one actually lets her speak in interviews, and either she's
an idiot or she just comes off as one. I'm leaning towards
the former.
Glenn
Quinn (Doyle) seems to be leaving Angel. I heard
he was, then I heard he wasn't, but this sounds pretty official.
In other Angel news, David
Boreanaz is getting a divorce.
It
makes me laugh when a new industry gets messed up by the web.
First book retailing. Then real estate. Then auto buying.
Now Hollywood. Yay!
What time is it really? If you're like me, every clock in
your house says something different. Check
