I
wanted to document my hair color (even though you can't see
it in this picture, really) because I'm going to get it colored
in about an hour. Right now I have really obvious roots from
the blonde highlights I got put in this summer. Normally,
I don't really care about roots or anything, but I'm in Gretchen's
wedding next weekend, and will probably have to put my hair
up, and I don't want to ruin the pictures! So I'm going to
get it done - you all will see it on Monday! I know you are
just thrilled.
I had a group meeting yesterday for my Human Computer Interaction
project. We are supposed to analyze the usability of the ticketing
kiosks at the movie theater. We have to go and observe people
using the kiosks. The problem is that we are worried that
no one uses them because they suck. We are going to go on
a Saturday and hope that SOMEONE uses them, but what if they
don't? I hope our teacher will understand. We are going to
ask her about that.
I've decided that I really need to either get a job where
I work alone, or where I am the boss, because I must be insufferable
to work with on a team. I'm really bossy. I try to be inclusive
- like I'll say "This is what I think we should do. What
do you guys thing? Or we could do this?" instead of saying,
"Here's what we're going to do." I try to be open
to other people's suggestions, and be inclusive. I just can't
stand sitting around and no one will make a decision. What
a waste of time. So Serena and Anne, my teammates, deserve
some sort of medal for putting up with me.
No big fights from the neighbors yesterday. There was a small
incident, but I'm not sure if it was a fight, or if it just
seemed that way because they were standing right outside our
door (which leads to their stairwell) and talking loudly.
The wife yelled at the husband and then called him a moron.
Way to set a great example for your kid (who was sitting right
there). You know, I literally never saw my parents fight or
even disagree, really. I'm sure they had their arguments,
but they kept it out of sight, and I really appreciate that.
It's stressful enough being a kid - you have no control over
your life, you have to worry about school, friends sports,
etc - you don't need to worry about your parents fighting
as well. Of course, I say this not be ing a parent, so you
can all tell me to shut up now.
Hey, has anyone seen the commercials for that movie "The
Best Man" with Taye Diggs and Nia Long? Does anyone know
the name of the song that plays in that commercial? I dig
that song, but I don't know the name or who sings it.

What
is the deal with celebrities of the '80s getting "mystery

Is anyone surprised, really?
I
am fired up about the Homicide TV movie, but I don't understand
how they are going to bring Beau and Crosetti back, since
they're dead. Unless it's some sort of prequel?
If
you were a fan of Ryan Phillippe, you might enjoy this news

that's not true.
